Jami is a New York native and Los Angeles transplant with a little bit of everything in between, her dancing touring her throughout 48 states and six countries. She completed her undergraduate studies with a B.A in Dance Performance, Dance Pedagogy and a B.S in Sports, Arts & Entertainment management from Point Park University. After four international and national tours with VEE Corporation as a featured role, swing dancer and assistant performance director, she received her M.B.A from University of Phoenix. Performance credits include: Madison Square Garden with FLO Dance Company, Derek Mitchell's SYTYCD submission, L.A Hello Kitty Con, and Robert McAtee iTunes album release among others. As a choreographer, Jami has assisted Cheryl Baxter on Sesame Street Live Make A New Friend and Hello Kitty's Kitty Con. She has also choreographed for and produced events and shows through ivivva by lululemon as well as her own production company, Three10 Moment. She has taught extensively throughout the country including both her alma maters, Point Park University and Long Island High School for the Arts. Her recent adventures brought her to Ghana with London-based company, Move the World, where she spent three weeks leading movement empowerment workshops in local Ghanian communities. Currently, while teaching and adjudicating competitions nationwide, she works as a financial planner, creating “Starving Artists No More,” a financial workshop for the dance community.
