DLMimi_Sedona_MAINAfter a long week of Swan Lake rehearsals, I wanted to have an outdoor adventure. My friend and I woke up early Saturday morning and drove two hours to Sedona, an area known for its red sandstone formations. It’s insane that such a different geographical location is located so close to the city I’ve been living in. We took an off road jeep tour of the sandstones and it was an exhilarating experience!

I also utilized my time to catch a film called Hector and the Pursuit of Happiness. It was a really lighthearted, funny, and touching film where a psychiatrist searchers the globe to get to the root of what truly makes people happy.

To end my weekend, I cooked a yummy vegetarian meal consisting of spaghetti squash lasagna, roasted brussel sprouts and shallots, and a kale and quinoa salad. I like fueling my body with a variety of vegetables, preparing my body for another jam packed week.
