DLShannon_ABT_MAINI went to see an American Ballet Theater’s (ABT) Diamond Jubilee Spring Gala. The dancers sparkled during the performance that celebrated their 75th anniversary. My friend and colleague, Leanne Cope, and I decided to go to the performance together. It was our first time inside the Metropolitan Opera House and we were in awe over the beauty and elegance of the theater. It made us feel like little girls going to the ballet for the first time, even though we both have been lifelong professional ballerinas!

ABT has Monday evening performances, so Leanne and I have been going every week to see each of their beautiful classical ballets. Romeo & Juliet, Sleeping Beauty and Giselle were all so exquisite. This ballet Company is shining bright like diamonds in their 75th season!
