DLShannon_shoes_MAINOne of the perks to working on Broadway is that we get to wear La Duca high heels. I remember buying my first pair of these heels before I came to New York last year when I began rehearsals. The lady at the store told me that all of the professional dancers on Broadway wear them. Since then, I have danced through four pairs of these shoes and just ordered two more pairs!

In pointe shoes I am used to going through a couple pairs each week, but I never thought that I would completely wear out so many pairs of heels in such a short time!

I love performing in La Duca heels every night on a Broadway stage. Wearing them reminds me that my dream of someday performing on Broadway has come true.
