More and more businesses are turning to mainstream social media outlets like Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram to promote their products. At Discount Dance we love social media because it’s more than a tool for promotion- it’s the ability to connect with the dance community. We are dancers. We are dance teachers. We are dance parents. When you are passionate about something you want to share it people who feel the same.

I love dance. It is only as an adult that I’ve received any formal training. I love the Latin dances like salsa, bachata, and merengue. Last year, as part of one of my lifelong dreams, I began taking adult ballet classes. Although I am past the prime age of being a ballerina, that’s not important. In ballet, I find my meditative space. My mind can only focus on the movement and I leave every class feeling more relaxed and centered-despite working every muscle in my body.
Ksgreer, that is great to hear! Stick with it and just know you are not alone! In fact, many of us on staff here at Dance Life and Discount Dance are adult dancers. I didn’t start dancing until I was an adult either and although ballet definitely improved every aspect of my dancing, I was never great at ballet. Now, many years (and many pounds lol) after my last dance class I just started attending a new adult ballet class at is extremely rewarding. Keep up the great work <3
