DLShannon_NiceFrance_MAINI have a month off to recover from San Francisco Ballet’s tour at the Les Etes de la Danse Festival in Paris. I decided to travel to the south of France with my husband for a week after the tour for some rest and relaxation.

The weather is perfect and the beaches are incredible. The water is so turquoise blue that it looks like a swimming pool here in Nice, France! I have been enjoying the French cuisine including their delicious seafood, chocolate and champagne. I even tried escargot for the first time! What a wonderful way to celebrate a successful tour.
