Boston-born and raised in the Midwest, Katarina Bennicoff Yundt is a New York City based dance therapist, facilitator, photographer, writer, and arts administrator. Movement is her love language, and the lens through which she sees the world. Katarina views the body as a roadmap of our experiences, strengths, and vulnerabilities–it is our greatest source of knowledge. Whether it’s through movement, photography, or writing, she is fueled by a desire to leave this wide and wild universe a little bit brighter than when she entered it. Katarina holds a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.S. in Psychology from Florida State University and is currently working towards her Masters in Dance Therapy at Pratt Institute. Prior to pursuing her graduate studies, she has worked for New York City Ballet, The George Balanchine Trust, The New York Choreographic Institute, Brooklyn Ballet, and CONTINUUM Contemporary Ballet.
